RainStorm receives grant for new product development
RainStorm Consulting is pleased to announce the receipt of a Maine Technology Institute (MTI) Seed Grant, its third in as many years. The grant will help to fund market research and prototyping for a new software product RainStorm is developing for the educational market.
“Again, we gratefully acknowledge the Maine Technology Institute for their support of our work in awarding us this grant,” said RainStorm CEO Brian Rahill. “With MTI support, we plan to conduct market research, customer surveys, testing, and prototype design on an exciting new software product for educational organizations. This preliminary work will help us to refine and improve what we hope will be a great product for small educational organizations to better reach students.”
RainStorm has previously been awarded Seed Grants by MTI for work on SiteTurbine, the company’s flagship web-based software suite. In addition to funding Maine web and IT companies, MTI also funds Maine companies in other technology sectors including biotech and energy.
